This is definitely one movie that I can watch again and again. According to the name of the film...it means The Best GoodBye ever in Russian language.
In the end of the movie....Amar Kaul after dying...does bid the best farewell to life. It gets a little sad towards the end but......One feels proud that somebody thought of leaving the world in such a vibrant way.
We get caught up in our daily rat races...so very much...that we forget ..or rather I say we become completely oblivious about our surroundings. It is like....a few days back when I was in Bombay...somebody robbed my wallet from my purse with a decent amount of money in it. I thought I could have spent some money on my self ...which in return would not make me feel so bad seeing my empty purse...My point is...only when something bad happens to us...we think that we deserve good things in life...things that will bring us happiness..without any monetary advantage or benefit. That is shown so beautifully in this film.
I had already seen it twice...as on today thrice...Last I watched it with my Maa.......usually...parents don't do things to please themsleves....they keep on giving endlessly. For parents like these.....there is a silent message in DasVidaniya.
"Maa...MerI maa"...is a beautiful song..with lovely wordings.
One of my best scene... is when Amar Kaul deletes his work file in front of his MOTU Boss.
Above all the ending ...scene where Amar Kaul manages to come on the front page of the newspaper...How??......See it for yourself.....
Some quotes from the movie~~~
"Mirchi mein kab sabzi ka tadka lagaa jaati hai pata hi nahi chalta hai!! "
When Amar reaches...Rajiv's house In Russia..he is so intimidated by the sophistication in house ...Rajiv being a doctor..and that too a RICH one...Amar says..
"Lagta hai yahan log beemaar bahut padte hain!!"
DasVidaniya.
